Hello everyone. I have a proper chrismassy pattern for you today.
Now before we go any further I do have a confession to make. I don’t like the original Elf on the Shelf. I think he’s a sinister looking little bastard who is probably really good friends with Chucky. However I was asked to make one for a friend’s daughter and I wouldn’t let her down.
I think my finished Elf has the look of the original while avoiding the sinister stare.

Hello readers. Most of the crochet items I make are either stuffed toys or mini figures of famous people, but every now and again I will make something a bit different. Recently a friend asked if I could make her and her daughter a crochet corset top. One in medium and one in small. I will admit I was a bit apprehensive about this at first because unlike with soft toys size actually matters. Because I needed to make the top on two different sizes I needed a pattern that could easily be sized up or down, alas the few patterns I found were only for one size but gave no clear indication of what sizes they was!

Hello everyone. With the continuation of the cold weather at the moment gloves are vital when going out. However I find it difficult to do anything in traditional gloves and much prefer fingerless ones. I designed these crochet dragon scale fingerless gloves for a friends teenage daughters. They look fantastic and are very warm.
Hello everyone. With Halloween fast approaching I have been thinking about decorations. I was going to start on some orange, purple and black bunting, but before I got started one of my lovely Twitter friends asked me to make a crochet witch softie for her granddaughter.
I decided to go for a friendly crochet witch design and really pleased with the result. It was difficult to let her go.
