Hello everyone. This crochet Triceratops is the second in my dinosaur collection, following on from the T-Rex. This one I have to admit is my favourite so far, and has been a winner with all the kids who have so far recieved one.
Hello everyone, today I’m sharing another fabulous Christmas make with you. I initially designed this last year, but didn’t think I would make another one so didn’t write the pattern down. However I was asked to make another one this year, so this time I made certain I record it.
The finished stocking is approx 20 inches long.
Hello everyone. I have a proper chrismassy pattern for you today.
Now before we go any further I do have a confession to make. I don’t like the original Elf on the Shelf. I think he’s a sinister looking little bastard who is probably really good friends with Chucky. However I was asked to make one for a friend’s daughter and I wouldn’t let her down.
I think my finished Elf has the look of the original while avoiding the sinister stare.
Hello everyone, today I’m sharing with you my pattern for a Tyrannosaurus-Rex. I have to admit I’ve always had a fascination with dinosaurs and have a special love of the T-Rex, just because of Mr A’s obsession with their teeny tiny arms.
With this softie I wanted to get just the right mix of cute and fierce, and I do believe ive achieved it.
Hello everyone, this week I’m sharing another of my patterns with you. When I was first asked to make Blaze I was a little stumped for no other reason than I hadn’t heard of him before. But I have been reliably informed that it’s a cool cartoon and Blaze is a worthy hero. Although there are a lot if peices involved in making the truck it requires only a basic understanding of crochet techniques, so is a great beginner pattern.
Hello everyone, back in 2018 I was asked to make a Crochet Winnie The Pooh. It was inevitable once he was done that I would end up doing more of the 100 Acre Wood characters because they are a great favourite of everyone. My crochet Piglet pattern is simple to follow but looks super cute when finished.
Hello everyone. Back in December last year one of the big movies out for kids was the updated version of The Grinch. A friend of mine wanted a crochet Grinch for her daughter, because her daughter loved the film. However because she is only a little tot, my friend wanted a friendly looking crochet Grinch.
This is the pattern I came up with. He looks more puzzled than scary which is just how I wanted him.
Hello everyone. Can you remember way back in the day when Top Gun first came out? I bloody loved the film even though I’m not a fan of Tom Cruise (it was alway Iceman for me). The main plane in the film was the iconic F-14 Tomcat. I only learnt this fact recently when a friend asked me to make her a crochet fighter jet plane based on the film for her young son.
He loves the film, and knows all about the F-14 so it had to be a convincing crochet fightet jet plane. I’m glad to report he gave the finished plabe his full seal of approval.
Hello everyone. Being the mum of grown children, I sometimes look at the toys my blogger friends review and think WTF!! Blind bags, slime and tiny little plastic things that will get sucked up in the hoover dont seem much fun to me, but one toy I do like are My Little Ponys. Probably because I use to play with them when I was a child. My Crochet my little pony is based on the modern version of this toy with cute little wings.
Hello everyone. When I was a girl I lived in Kent, close to Ashdown Forest which is the real home of the Hundred Acre Wood and Winnie the Pooh. I have a lot of love for the cute little yellow bear and was as pleased as punch when I was asked to make a crochet Winnie the Pooh for a friends daughter who is also called Winnie.
